Intraday alerts for your watchlist
See a setup. Open the chart. Check the levels.
Follow your saved stocks and ETFs while GEX Options is open. Get an in-app alert when a wall-based setup qualifies, then review its entry area, target and invalidation together.

- Save the stocks and ETFs you follow. Setup alerts are on by default; sound and wall-testing alerts are optional.
- Keep the site open during the session. Use Scanner’s Wall activity view to compare your symbols.
- Open the bell for Recent alerts. Filter for Conditions met when you want setups that qualified, or In progress when you want to follow their development.
- Open an assessment to see the matching symbol, recorded time, entry area, reference target and five-minute invalidation boundary. Compare with current market price.
A touch is a reason to watch. A setup needs a sequence.
Wall tracking follows nearby put and call walls, delayed price and completed five-minute price bars. A touch or test by itself is not an entry signal.
A setup needs the required completed price sequence, a usable entry area and room toward its recorded target under the platform’s rules. The chart and supporting bars let you inspect what qualified at that time.
Find the setups you want to review.
| View or status | What to use it for |
|---|---|
| Watching in Scanner | Monitor a level before the setup conditions qualify. |
| Conditions met | Review the recorded entry, target and invalidation after the price rules pass. |
| In progress | Follow a qualified scenario as later completed bars arrive. |
| Needs update | Check the assessment time and wait for an updated comparison before treating it as current. |
Follow a qualified setup through the session.
After qualification, the original target and invalidation stay fixed. Follow-up ends when a completed five-minute close reaches the target, crosses the invalidation boundary, or the regular trading session closes. A later change in the leading wall does not cancel that qualified scenario.
The entry window is separate. Entry window closed means the earlier setup is still being followed, not that a new entry has qualified. Needs update pauses the review when completed price bars are not yet available.
Return to the evidence without losing the symbol.
Recent alerts keeps today’s received notifications in this browser. It also includes fresh active setups found for your saved symbols, so opening the site after a setup qualified does not require an earlier popup to review it.
An inbox entry can say From your watchlist when it came from that active comparison. This does not replay an old popup. Ended intraday scenarios are removed from the active list as their state updates.
Repeated confirmations with the same entry, target and invalidation appear as one active plan with the additional confirmation times. The separate recorded assessments are retained.
Check the timestamp before the entry area.
Intraday prices are delayed at least 15 minutes and the assessments use completed five-minute bars. Conditions met describes the recorded assessment, not a guarantee that the same entry is available now.
These are browser-based notifications while the site is open. They are not SMS, email or closed-browser push notifications. Swing ideas uses a separate daily workflow and does not send these alerts.
Questions before you start
Do I receive alerts after I close the site?
No. Keep GEX Options open for in-app notifications. Sound is optional; email, SMS and closed-browser push delivery are not included.
Can I review a setup if I did not see its popup?
Yes. The inbox also includes fresh active setups from your saved symbols. Open the recorded assessment to check its time, levels and current state.
Does a bullish alert mean I should buy immediately?
No. It means the recorded price sequence passed the rules at the displayed delayed time. Review current price, entry boundaries and your own risk before deciding.
