Swing trading research

Swing trading ideas with a plan to check.

Find a price level to watch, the daily close needed before entry, and the target and invalidation for a multi-day plan. Choose 2–5 trading days or 1–3 weeks.

Reviewed from completed end-of-day data. Levels refer to the underlying stock or ETF.

Swing ideas reviews your saved stocks and ETFs in two separate views. The 2–5 day view uses a 1M options-expiry scope; the 1–3 week view uses 3M expirations. Holding period and options scope are different: one describes the plan’s review window, the other describes which contracts shape its levels.

A Watching card is a conditional plan. It shows the wall’s test area and the daily-close condition needed inside the entry area. Conditions met appears only after the recorded price sequence qualifies.

  1. Save the symbols you trade and open Swing ideas.
  2. Choose your holding period. Read the price condition, entry area, reference target and daily-close invalidation.
  3. After the next completed session, check whether the plan is still watching, has qualified or is in progress.
  4. Compare the recorded levels with current price and review upcoming earnings or major events before deciding.

The current rules look for an aligned daily trend, recent price movement and a nearby ranked gamma wall with room toward an opposing exposure level. Average daily range helps set the price boundaries.

Open Price, positioning and volatility for the evidence: trend averages, recent returns, GEX, DEX, volatility and expiry context. These inputs explain the research. They are not all independent votes for a trade.

What a useful card tells you.

The interface preview summarizes the workflow. A qualifying product card provides its own dated numbers: what price must do, where the entry area starts and ends, the reference target, the daily close that invalidates the scenario and the entry deadline.

Read the swing guide below for a numerical teaching example. If no plan qualifies for a symbol, the product shows the reason instead of manufacturing an idea.

Use daily confirmation for the swing plan.

Intraday wall tracking can help you inspect the price response during the session. A five-minute intraday alert does not qualify a swing plan. Swing ideas waits for its own daily-close rule.

Targets are reference underlying prices, not promised profits or option returns. Overnight gaps can pass a level. The current version does not send swing notifications.

Questions before you start

Does Swing ideas choose an option contract for me?

No. Its entry, target and invalidation are prices of the underlying stock or ETF. It does not select a strike, expiration or position size.

Are the plans reviewed during the trading day?

Swing plans are reviewed from completed end-of-day data. Intraday wall tracking is a separate workflow with delayed prices and five-minute observations.

Are these backtested return forecasts?

No. These are conditional research plans under the current rules. The platform does not claim a validated win rate or estimate your trade profit.
